Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students with diverse needs to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Modify general education curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and behavioral growth.
- Provide direct instruction and support in small group and one-on-one settings.
- Track and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP progress.
