Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Sleep Technologist for a travel assignment in Cooperstown, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled polysomnographic technologist to work in a leading healthcare facility while exploring a new location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients during testing.
• Perform polysomnographic recordings and ensure accurate data collection.
• Apply and adjust electrodes and sensors to ensure optimal signal quality.
• Analyze sleep patterns, identify abnormalities, and generate detailed reports.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout testing.
• Maintain compliance with AASM and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent sleep lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and scoring procedures.
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
