We are seeking a skilled PACU/PreOp RN for a travel assignment in Plantation, FL. This position is ideal for a nurse who excels in post-anesthesia care and pre-operative preparation, ensuring patients are well cared for before and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia care for surgical patients
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as required
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment, adhering to all surgical protocols

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU/PreOp settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety
