Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment in Liberal, Kansas. As an integral part of the surgical team, you will provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgical procedures.
- Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation before, during, and after surgery.
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and instruments for surgical procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in the operating room setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities.
