Job Overview:

As a Medical Surgical RN on this travel contract in Elmira, New York, you will provide expert care in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Stroke care units. Working 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:00-7:30, you’ll have a flexible schedule that allows you to experience the unique charm of Elmira, New York, while continuing to develop your nursing skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Stroke care units.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide top-notch patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York (or compact license).
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing with Telemetry and Stroke care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• BLS/ACLS certifications.
