Job Opportunity: Medical Physicist (40 Hours/Week Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated, onsite Medical Physicist to join a growing Radiation Oncology team. In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of clinical radiation oncology physics, including QA and calibration of treatment equipment, IMRT planning, brachytherapy, and equipment troubleshooting. You will work closely with a team of 3 dosimetrists and 2 radiation oncologists, providing essential support in ensuring precise and safe radiation treatment for patients.

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
• Patient Load: 80-90 patients daily
• Team: Chief physicist and 2 medical physicists (1 full-time, 1 PRN)
• Location: Onsite only; no remote applicants
• Duration: Long-term placement until permanent hire

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Medical Physics and 2+ years of experience
• ABR/ABMP certification required
• Experience with Aria software and Varian equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
