ICU RN – Evansville, IN

Advance your nursing career with a 13-week Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position in Evansville, Indiana.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Evansville, IN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
• Facility: Trauma Level II

Requirements:

• Licensure: Current active compact RN license
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years as an RN
  • 1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience
  • 1 travel assignment
  • Recent experience with trauma level II
• Charting: Recent EPIC experience (checkoff class required)

Patient Population:

• General medical ICU patients – cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, post-vascular surgical, renal failure, and sepsis.

Skill Requirements:

• NIHSS, dysphagia screens, and strong neuro assessment skills
• Telemetry/12-lead EKG interpretation (telemetry test required)
• Vent/ETT management with RT support
• Initiating/titrating sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactives, insulin, and more
• ROSC therapeutic hypothermia and sepsis protocols
