Surgical Oncology RN – Rochester, NY

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with surgical and oncology experience to work in a dynamic unit specializing in post-operative care for patients with various oncological diseases.

Job Details:

• Location: Rochester, NY
• Position Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Shift: Day/Evening/Night Rotating Shift Schedule
  • Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per unit needs

Job Duties:

• Care for post-operative patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries, including those with oncological diseases
• Work in a 28-bed unit that requires flexibility, a strong belief in teamwork, and a positive attitude
• Provide patient care in a changing environment, working with a varied patient population
• Note: This unit does not administer chemotherapy

Job Requirements:

• RN License: Must have a New York State (NY) License ONLY
• Experience: Minimum of Two (2) Years of experience
• Telemetry Experience: Required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
