Staff Pharmacist - HIV/AIDS Specialty Pharmacy Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a short-term assignment at a specialized HIV/AIDS retail pharmacy. This is a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a focused and meaningful setting.

Position Details:

• Days: 3-5 days per week
• Start Date: December 2, 2024
• End Date: January 3, 2025
• Pharmacy Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts.
• Volume: 10-20 prescriptions per day
• Environment: Independent pharmacist operation (no Pharmacy Technician support)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy in all dispensing activities.
• Provide high-quality care and support to patients, with a focus on HIV/AIDS medications.
• Foster effective communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required. HIV/AIDS medication experience is essential.
• Skills: Strong patient care, communication, and time management skills.
• Software: Experience with QS1 is preferred.
• License: Active Florida pharmacist license required.
• Education: PharmD required.
