Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) – Full-Time Position

Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support students with hearing impairments in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff in educational settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class interpretation for students.
• Support communication between students, staff, and peers.
• Ensure compliance with IEP requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLI certification or license in New York.
• Proficiency in ASL and educational interpreting.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
