Speech Language Assistant (SLPA) | Sedona, AZ

Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Sedona, AZ. This is a full-time, school-based position for the remainder of the current school year. As an SLPA, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide support for students with speech and language needs, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering speech and language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Implement individual or group therapy sessions for students.
• Document and track student progress and provide necessary feedback.
• Help with preparing therapy materials and resources.
• Support students in a variety of settings including the classroom, therapy room, and during daily activities.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet district-specific requirements.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: Immediate, ongoing through the remainder of the school year.
• Hourly Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience.
• Full-Time: 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
