Special Education Teacher

Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Position: Full-Time
Grade Levels: 6th – 8th Grade

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students in grades 6-8. This position involves providing ELA and Math support through both pull-out and inclusion services. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted ELA and Math instruction through pull-out services to students with disabilities
• Support students in the general education classroom through inclusion services, ensuring accommodations and modifications are implemented
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect students’ academic and social-emotional goals
• Monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education certification/license (as required by state)
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly in ELA and Math
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and modifications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
