Job Posting: Grade 5 Reading Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Grade 5 Reading Support Specialist to join our team! This position provides both push-in and pull-out reading support services to a caseload of 17 students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students strengthen their reading skills and achieve academic success.

• Grade Level: 5th grade
• Classroom Style: Push-in and pull-out reading supports
• Caseload: 17 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted reading interventions in both small group and individual settings.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students' literacy development.
• Develop and implement individualized reading plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in reading instruction or special education (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
