Caseload: Approximately 20 students (Grades K-2)
Special Education Focus: Mild disabilities, primarily DD (Developmental Disabilities), SLD (Specific Learning Disabilities), and AU (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Service Model: Pull-out services
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood (EC) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to students in kindergarten through second grade with mild disabilities, primarily focusing on developmental disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. This full-time position will involve pull-out services, offering individualized instruction to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with mild disabilities in a pull-out setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates to parents and staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports each child's growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (required).
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or Special Education (preferred).
- Experience working with students with DD, SLD, and AU is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and making a difference in their educational journey.
