Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid IN teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.

Caseload: All students have some degree of hearing loss and utilize hearing aids or cochlear. Classrooms have instructional assistant support and other service providers come in as well, there is no concern with student behavior and any experience with LSL (Listen and Spoken Language) is a huge plus but not required.

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service providers.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and promoting learning.
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies to facilitate student engagement and success.
