Special Education Teacher - Williams Creek, IN

Soliant Education is currently hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in the Williams Creek, IN area for the 2024-2025 School Year. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a small group of 6-8 students in a classroom setting, where all students have some degree of hearing loss and use hearing aids. The classroom is supported by instructional assistants to ensure the students receive the support they need to succeed.

Position: Special Education Teacher
Caseload: Classroom of 6-8 students with hearing loss

Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction to students with hearing loss, tailored to their individual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Collaborate with instructional assistants, general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Requirements:
• Active Indiana State teaching license with appropriate endorsements (Special Education or related endorsements)
• Experience or specialization in working with students who have hearing loss preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
