Job Title: Special Education Teacher 

Location: Raleigh, NC Area

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), onsite

Pay: $32-40/hour 

Caseload(s): Grades 9-12, Inclusion 

 

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Raleigh, NC area for the 2024-25 school year. This is a full-time, onsite role, and it involves working with students from 9th through 12th grade. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid North Carolina Special Education Certification required 
•  Experience with inclusion classroom settings preferred 
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities

Job Details:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Provide life skills instruction to students from grades 9-12 
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
