Position Details:

• Location: Near Litchfield Park, AZ
• Job Type: Full-Time (Contract)
• Contract Duration: Full Semester
• Grade Levels: High School

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high school students' unique needs
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Provide direct instruction and support in small group and one-on-one settings
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional techniques as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain regular communication with parents and guardians
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and help students transition to life beyond high school

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with high school students in a special education setting (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for helping students reach their full potential
