Qualifications:

- Indiana State Teaching Certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with students' unique learning needs and goals
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to students’ abilities in one-on-one and small-group settings
- Adapt curriculum and classroom activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure inclusion
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to provide accommodations and modifications
- Monitor and assess student progress, updating IEPs as needed to reflect changes in goals and objectives
- Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for individualized programming
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth
