Job Title: Special Education Teacher  

Location: Palisades Park, NJ Area

Employment Type: Full-time (32.5-37.5 hours/week), onsite

Pay: $33-43/hour 

Caseload(s): Grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade, inclusion and/or self-contained 

Number of Openings: 6

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Palisades Park, NJ area for the 2024-25 school year. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid New Jersey Special Education Certification required 
• Experience teaching in a self-contained or resource classroom setting preferred 
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Must be comfortable providing toileting assistance as needed 

Job Details:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with case management as needed
