Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher
Location: Baltimore, MD
Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year
Pay Range: $37 - $43 per hour

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers for onsite roles in the Baltimore, MD area for the 2024-2025 school year! We have opportunities available across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. If you’re a licensed Special Education Teacher, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to ensure students’ academic success.
• Implement modifications and accommodations to the curriculum to meet students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to teach Special Education in Maryland or hold a current VA/Washington D.C. license and be willing to apply for a Maryland teaching certificate.
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with diverse learners and helping students achieve their full potential.
• Must be available for a full-time, onsite position throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
