Job Posting: Special Education Teacher (Onsite)
Location: Watertown, MN area (20 miles West of Minneapolis)

Pay Range: $35-$45 per hour (based on experience and other factors)
Work Schedule: 7:20 AM – 3:20 PM (some flexibility for IEP meetings)
Weekly Hours: Full-time

Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a contract position in the Watertown, MN area for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will focus on working with students in grades K-4 in an Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) classroom. The teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and behavior regulation support to students with various needs.

Caseload Details:

• Grade Level: K-4
• Classroom Type: EBD/SLD
• Caseload: Varies, including some due process support
• Additional Need: Behavior regulation support

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and indirect services to students with disabilities
• Support students with behavior regulation and emotional/behavioral needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents
• Attend IEP meetings and other required school functions
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records for documentation and reporting purposes

Requirements:

• Special Education (SPED) licensure in Minnesota (any tier is acceptable)
• Experience working with students with EBD/SLD or similar needs is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide behavior management and regulation support
• Must be able to work onsite and engage in a team environment
