We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team near Bangor, Maine. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional support through both push-in and resource classroom models.
Position Details

Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach and support inclusion in the classroom.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s goals and needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and support teams.
Qualifications
- Active Maine Special Education Teaching License (required).
- Experience working with middle school students preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity in education.

20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
