 We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team near Bangor, Maine. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional support through both push-in and resource classroom models.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Environment: Push-in and resource classroom
• Grade Level: Middle School

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach and support inclusion in the classroom.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s goals and needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Active Maine Special Education Teaching License (required).
• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity in education.

Interview Process:
10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education  Recruiter
20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
