Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Casa Grande, Arizona area. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be instrumental in creating personalized learning experiences that help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction in special education settings and inclusive classrooms
• Modify and adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of students with varying abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success
• Track and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to families and school administrators
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
• Provide emotional support and behavioral strategies to assist students in achieving their goals
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Patience, understanding, and a deep commitment to making a difference in students' lives
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the varied needs of students
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
