Special Education Teacher
Location: Near Leola, PA
Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
Required Degrees and Certifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team near Leola, PA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to empower students with diverse learning needs and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) customized to students’ unique needs.
- Modify curriculum and teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student success and confidence.
Requirements:
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience in special education is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to making a positive difference in students' educational experiences.
Pay & Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour (based on experience).
