Requirements:

Position Details:

• Location: Near Homestead, PA
• Job Type: school-based position
• Hourly Rate: Up to $35 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, during school hours

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction based on students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom environment
• Track and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience working with students with disabilities (preferred)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to students’ individual learning needs
