Required Degrees and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet students' individual needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure student success.
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support for students with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required.
• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher in Indiana.
• Previous experience in a special education setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
