Special Education Teacher - Full-Time Position (2024-2025 School Year)
Location: Linden, NJ

Soliant Education is currently hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in the Linden, NJ area for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, providing specialized instruction in an ABA preschool class, while helping students with diverse learning needs succeed.

Position: Special Education Teacher
Caseload(s): ABA Preschool Class

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) Special Education Certification
• Experience or specialization in Early Childhood Special Education (ABA or related programs preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to attend IEP/CST meetings and collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to create and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs
• Experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) methods

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to each student's learning style and needs in an ABA preschool classroom
• Attend IEP/CST meetings and collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other staff to support student success
• Create and implement lesson plans and educational activities
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
