Special Education Teacher (K-5)

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher for a K-5th grade caseload in Delaware for the 2024-2025 school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Delaware
• Grade Level: Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Type: W2 contracted position
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Caseload: K-5th grade students with varying needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special education needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active Special Education teaching license in Delaware
• Experience working with elementary school students with diverse needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay starting at $32 per hour and up, depending on experience
