Special Education Teacher in Spokane, WA - Remote Learning Specialist - Masters Required - Fall 2024

Position Overview:

Essential Responsibilities:
- Create and implement comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers on accommodations
- Document student progress and maintain detailed educational records
- Perform ongoing assessments and progress monitoring
- Lead virtual meetings with families and educational team members
- Deliver specialized instruction via online platforms
- Coordinate with educational assistants to ensure program success

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Washington State teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of school-based teaching experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with educational technology
- Excellence in communication and team collaboration
- Proven experience with IEP development
