Soliant Education is currently hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in the Hoadly, VA area for the 2024-2025 School Year. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide personalized support to students with special needs in an adaptive classroom setting.
Position: Special Education Teacher
Caseload: Adaptive Classroom
Grades: 9-12
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with special needs in an adaptive classroom setting.
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Virginia State Special Education Certification with Adaptive Certification
- Previous experience in special education preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
