Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support student achievement.
• Assess student progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to teaching strategies and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Create and maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior and use positive reinforcement strategies.
• Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire teaching certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education laws, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• A passion for helping students with diverse learning needs achieve academic success.
