Pay: Hourly, Range: $35-$42 per hour ($1,313 - $1,575 per week)

Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a Resource Classroom in a High School in berry Hill, TN. This is a full-time, onsite contract position for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional services to students with special needs in a resource classroom.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students' learning goals are met.
• Assist in the development of strategies to support student academic growth and success.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student development.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of services.
• Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Tennessee Teaching License with K-12 Special Education Endorsement, OR proof of enrollment in a job-embedded Educator Preparation Program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (conferred).
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families.
• Passion for supporting students with special needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
