Job Title: Special Education Teacher – Kindergarten & First Grade Autistic Support Classrooms

Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for Kindergarten and First Grade Autistic Support classrooms in Greenfield, PA. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young learners on the autism spectrum, helping them achieve academic, social, and emotional growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing individualized instruction and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide direct, specialized instruction to students in an autism-focused classroom.
• Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports both academic and social development.
• Collaborate with other educators, special education assistants, and behavior specialists to ensure holistic support for each student.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to maximize success.
• Provide behavioral support and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field (Required).
• Experience working with young children, particularly in special education or autism support (Preferred).
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and experience using evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a dedication to creating a positive learning environment.
• Available to begin immediately and work through June 10th, 2025.
