Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet students' academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Provide specialized instruction in both inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments.
• Assess and monitor student progress, modifying instructional methods as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom culture that supports student achievement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Kansas teaching certification in Special Education.
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
