Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to work with elementary students in an adapted classroom setting in Arnoldsville, Georgia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting students with unique learning needs using an adapted curriculum. The ideal candidate will hold the required certification and have a passion for enhancing the educational experience of every student.

Position Details:

• Grade Level: Elementary Students
• Classroom Setting: Adapted Curriculum (Candidate must hold an adapted curriculum SPED certificate)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
• Compensation: $30-$35/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, tailoring instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in an adapted curriculum classroom setting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning.
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to support student progress.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and making modifications as needed.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education certification with an adapted curriculum endorsement for the state of Georgia.
• Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Dedication to fostering student growth and independence.
