Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher who is interested in working in a school setting in the Zion, Illinois area. In this role, the SPED will be providing services for school age students ranging from grades PreK-12. Please see job details below.
- 2024-25 School Year
- Full Time (8:25am - 4pm)
- Caseload: 2 sessions, 1 morning and 1 afternoon, 10 students in each session
- Valid Illinois Special Educator teaching license required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher highly preferred
The primary duties include providing individualized support and resources to students with struggling with math who have diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies that promote academic and social-emotional growth for students with disabilities.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of special education principles, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
