Position: Onsite Special Education Teacher
Pay: $35-$45 hourly rate

Qualifications:

• Current Maine Gr. K-8 Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification (282) preferred.
• Maine Criminal History Records Check required
• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education Teaching License from the DOE

Job Details:

• Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year
• Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
• Caseload: K-8th Opening for Special Education Classroom Management

Responsibilities: Manage Special Education students in various settings

• Collaborate in developing and implementing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
• Provide targeted instruction for diverse student populations
• Utilize Pull-In and Push-Out strategies
• Monitor student progress, provide behavior support, and write detailed reports
