Job Title: Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired

Location: Ohio (Remote)

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in Ohio. In this role, you will create and deliver individualized lessons, utilize assistive technologies, and collaborate with families and school staff to support each student's learning needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with visually impaired students and be proficient in remote teaching methods.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
• Deliver remote lessons in subjects such as literacy, math, and independent living skills.
• Use assistive technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other professionals to monitor student progress and make adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Visual Impairments, or related field.
• Certification or licensure in Teaching Students with Visual Impairments in Ohio.
• Experience working with students who have visual impairments.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, braille displays).
• Strong communication skills and experience with remote teaching platforms.
