Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for an onsite, full-time position in the Berkeley, CA. This is an itinerant role supporting students across multiple school sites.

Candidates with both Visual Impairment (VI) and Orientation & Mobility (O&M) credentials or experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments

• Provide support across various school locations as an itinerant educator

• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials for accessibility

• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families to support student success

• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate IEP documentation

• Provide orientation and mobility training if credentialed

Requirements:

• Valid California Teaching Credential with VI authorization

• O&M credential or relevant experience preferred but not required

• Experience working with visually impaired students in school settings

• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills

• Ability to travel between school sites
