Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a school district in Albany, California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with visual impairments, helping them navigate their academic journey with specialized support and instruction.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, CA
• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Caseload: K-12 students with visual impairments

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, focusing on individualized learning plans.
• Adapt and modify classroom materials to ensure accessibility.
• Teach students to utilize assistive technology for learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress and inclusion in school activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired.
• California certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
• Experience with K-12 students preferred.
