VocoVision is seeking a skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to work with students across the state of Georgia at a school district remotely through our innovative teletherapy platform. Job Responsibilities

Provide tailored instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a virtual classroom environment
Adapt lesson plans to meet individual IEP goals and student learning needs
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support teams to ensure the success of each student
Offer guidance on the use of hearing devices such as hearing aids and cochlear implants
Track and report on student progress through regular assessments and feedback

Job Details

Contract: 1099 independent contractor (self-employed)
Work Hours: Flexible, aligned with school hours and student schedules
Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere with reliable internet
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field
Active state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Experience in school settings, with a focus on working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Familiarity with assistive technology and hearing devices
Strong communication skills and comfort using online teaching platforms
Reliable internet connection and computer with video conferencing capabilities
