*VIRTUAL* Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher | Saint Paul, MN

VocoVision is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual educational services to students across the state of Minnesota. This is a flexible, remote opportunity to help students achieve their academic goals while working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to deaf and hard of hearing students via teletherapy
• Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of individual students and IEP goals
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other service providers to support student success
• Provide consultation on hearing technologies (hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc.)
• Monitor student progress and report on their academic and developmental milestones

Job Details:

• Contract Type: 1099 independent contractor
• Schedule: Flexible, based on school hours and student needs
• Location: Fully remote, work-from-home position
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
• State certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Previous experience in a school setting, preferably working with deaf or hard of hearing students
• Strong knowledge of assistive listening devices and related technologies
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with teletherapy platforms
• Reliable internet and video conferencing setup
