Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week

Positions Available:

Behavior Support Classroom – Turner Elementary
Certification Required: High Incidence (KS SPED License)
Caseload:

• Self-contained classroom for grades K-6

• Currently 4 students, 3 returning next year (potential for summer enrollments)

• Students’ cognitive abilities vary — some near grade level, others below

• 2 students working toward reintegration into general education with supports

Support Staff:

• Full-time RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

• Paraprofessional

Life Skills – Turner High School
Certification Required: Low Incidence (KS SPED License)
Caseload:

• New position added for growing program

• Estimated 5-8 students per classroom, total program enrollment of 11 students

• Serving students with cognitive and adaptive needs

• Adaptive curriculum tailored to individual academic abilities

Support Staff:

• RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

• Paraprofessional
