Special Education Teacher Openings – Onsite

Pay Range: $34 - $50 per hour (Based on experience and degree level)

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for onsite opportunities near the McLean, VA area. We are actively hiring for both Extended School Year (ESY) positions and the 2025–2026 school year.

Current Opportunities:

• ESY (Extended School Year):

• Dates: July 7th – August 1st

• Grades: K–12

• Hours: 25–28 hours per week

• Positions across various classroom settings

• 2025–2026 School Year:

• Start: Fall 2025

• Grades: K–12

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Multiple openings across several classroom settings

  Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Deliver specialized instruction to meet the needs of students with disabilities

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development

  Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred, New grads are very welcome to apply!)

• Valid Special Education teaching license/certification in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain

• Experience working with students with disabilities (K–12 experience preferred)

• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
