Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional School Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students to promote a positive and healthy school environment. This position works closely with students, families, and school staff to provide counseling, advocacy, and crisis intervention, while helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies for student success.
• Work with families to offer resources, referrals, and support.
• Assist in crisis intervention and emergency situations.
• Advocate for students’ well-being and ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare necessary reports.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
• Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent) preferred, or eligibility for licensure.
• 2 years experience in a school or similar setting.
• CDE license
• Strong knowledge of child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral interventions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Interview Process:

• (10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
• (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
