Job Details:
- Location: Shreveport, LA
- Position Type: Contract, School-Based
- Start Date: ASAP (or based on availability)
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Caseload: K-12 students (assigned based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
- Assist with speech assessments and screenings as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting (SLPA).
- Louisiana State SLPA licensure
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus but not required.
State-Specific Requirements:
- Louisiana State SLPA License
- Background check required as per state regulations.
