We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Three Rivers, MI. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for students with communication disorders. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and collaborate with a supportive team of educators and specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Monitor and document student progress towards therapy goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Educate and support parents on strategies to promote speech and language development at home.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to professional growth and development in the field of speech-language pathology.
