An opportunity is available for a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 school setting in Milpitas, CA. This full-time, onsite position is focused on providing exceptional communication support to approximately 30-40 students, ensuring that each individual receives the guidance needed for their speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Current State License as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain one
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, though not required
- Strong ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies

Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
