Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed – East Maine SD 63 – Des Plaines, IL

Join our team and make a lasting impact on students' communication skills for the remainder of the school year! We’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about providing high-quality services to students.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Location: Onsite Only in Des Plaines, IL
• Grade Levels: Preschool and Middle School
• Caseload: 36-48 students split between two buildings
• Duration: December 2024 – Extended School Year (ESY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized language support and intervention to students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Track and analyze progress on student IEP goals, adjusting as necessary.
• Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with IEP teams, parents, and school staff to support each student's needs.

Requirements:

• License: Valid Illinois SLP license
• Certification: Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
• Experience: School-based experience preferred, with the ability to work with diverse age groups and needs.
